Komatiland Forest Training for the Unemployed - Venda

 

Komatiland Forests is a state owned company that has signed 13 Socio-Economic Development Compacts with communities adjacent to our Forestry and Processing operations within KZN, Limpopo and Mpumalanga Provinces. We have a mandate to implement skills development interventions among our communities to grow the skills base of the youth, women , people with disabilities and Co-operatives for establishing sustainable enterprises within the forestry value chain

 

Bonalesedi Computer Training College was given the oppertunity to train these unemployed students. Its was a 2 week course that consisted of Introduction to Computers, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet.

 

Students were dedicated to the program and performed well. Upon Completition of the course Bonalesedi Computer Training College hosted

a graduation and presented each student with a certificate.
